Magazine Bowls - exercise in craft as art

Tear out AT LEAST 200 magazine pages.

Be intentional to pick colors that you enjoy or add to the interest to your bowl.

For regular bowls:

Fold each magazine section in half (hotdog).

Open it up.

Fold the edges inward toward the middle crease.

For a second time, fold the outside edges toward the middle crease.

Folding the magazine closed, put glue along the inside to make sure that it stays closed.

Repeat.

For detailed bowls:

Fold each page in half (hotdog fold).

Cut cleanly and neatly down the fold.

Fold each magazine section in half (hotdog).

Open it up.

Fold the edges inward toward the middle crease.

For a second time, fold the outside edges toward the middle crease.

Folding the magazine closed, put glue along the inside to make sure that it stays closed.

Repeat.
