NAHS is a student governed organization that emphasizes the importance of art in the community, local service, and academic integrity. This national organization offers students a place to make friends, become leaders in their school and support their community.

At the end of September, students who have maintained a "B" average in their 2nd level art classes and who have been recommended by their teachers will be asked to join NAHS.

Only those invited based on the national organization's bylaws may join.

Students participate in a student-led Induction Ceremony, pay $10 in dues and complete service hours. Five service hours are due in December and five additional service hours are due in May to maintain membership.

Students who participate in NAHS through their Senior year, and who maintain good status with the club, are elegiable to purchase Senior Cords and patches to be worn at graduation.

Letters from Students

"NAHS is a place where I can meet other people who are passionate about creating art. It allows me to use my artistic abilities to help the community, be informed about upcoming art events, and just have fun creating art with friends." -Christina, 2015

" NAHS is like my second family away from home, I love working and interacting with everyone that has the same interests in art as I do!"

- Ariana Guzman, 2016
